Longleaf Restoration Burns

We specialize in longleaf pine restoration burns—an essential practice for maintaining the health and resilience of these fire-adapted ecosystems. Unlike other forests, longleaf pine evolved with frequent fire, making fire exclusion an unnatural and disruptive force.

Reintroducing fire to fire-excluded populations requires expertise, as fire in the wrong conditions can lead to the loss of mature or relic trees. We take pride in conducting carefully planned restoration burns that reduce fuel loads and strengthen the ecosystem—ensuring that these fire-suppressed trees are protected from burning during wildfire conditions. Shown here are ignition patterns and post burn evaluations from some of the burns we have conducted.
